RealityXpander gamified the use of the already existing SportsTracker App with Dagmar. We combined an application related to the same lifestyles as the product sold, a traditional banner ad, a minigame and actual rewards.
SportsTracker users were rewarded with virtual coins that they could use in the Hartwall Novelle game to win refreshing bottles of Novelle sparkling water drinks. The bottles could be collected at the R-kioski retail chain.
Click-through-rate for the ad was over 15%. Significantly better than for an average banner.
